Depart Frankfurt Main train station for a scenic train journey to Rüdesheim in 2nd class. Upon arriving in Rüdesheim take a short walk to the Hotel Ruedesheimer Schloss, located in the famous Drosselgasse. At the reception the hotel staff will provide you with a backpack filled with a snack and a bottle of white wine (the hotel’s family owners are one of the Germany’s top 10 wine makers).

After picking up your snack package, it is around a 50 metre walk to the cable car gondola which will take you to “Germania” (Niederwald-Monument). This is the perfect spot to enjoy outstanding views over the Rhine valley!

Walk back to Rüdesheim through the vineyards and enjoy the picturesque landscape. After returning your backpack to the Ruedesheimer Schloss, enjoy the atmosphere on the restaurant’s terrace while enjoying their speciality - a Rüdesheim Coffee.
