Start your morning with a relaxing train ride to Heidelberg, the old university town at the banks of Neckar-River which includes a visit to the inner courtyard of Heidelberg Castle and a lunchbox. After returning to Frankfurt, the rest of
the day is free for own activities. Overnight at InterCityHotel or similar.

Depart from Frankfurt for a picturesque drive through the Spessart mountains to Wuerzburg, on the banks of the river Main. Continue on the Romantic Road to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Germany’s well-preserved “Jewel of the Middle Ages” with its ramparts, city gates, town hall and Jakobskirche (church) with an altar by the famous wood-carver Tilman Riemenschneider. Upon arrival in Rothenburg, a taxi will take you to your hotel. In the afternoon or evening please join the city walk with a local guide or the historic Night Watchman in Rothenburg. Overnight at Hotel Spitzweg or similar.B

After breakfast, a taxi will meet you at your hotel and take you to the bus stop. Your coach drives along the Romantic Road passing picturesque places as Dinkelsbuehl and Noerdlingen with high-gabled houses and cobbled-stone
streets. Via Augsburg, a metropolis during the Roman times and famous for old trade dynasties during the Middle Ages, you reach Munich, where your tour ends at approximately 5:00 p.m.

Tour ends in Frankfurt at approx. 7:30 p.m.
