Depart from Frankfurt for a picturesque drive through the Spessart mountains to Würzburg, on the banks of the river Main. Continue on the Romantic Road to Rothenburg o.d.T., Germany’s well preserved "Jewel of the Middle Ages". In Rothenburg you will change to Castle-Road coach, leaving a few minutes later from the same coach stop. Via Ansbach you reach Nurnberg in the afternoon. Check into your hotel InterCity o.s.. City-tour by means of electronic audio-visual guidance is available either in the afternoon or next morning before you leave.

Morning at leisure or audio-visual city-walk if not taken yesterday afternoon. Leave your luggage at reception (own risk) and return to hotel in time to make your way to the bus-stop in the afternoon. Return to Frankfurt via Castle- and Romantic Road. Arrive in Frankfurt around 9.00 pm. B
