Depart from Frankfurt for a picturesque drive through the Spessart mountains to Würzburg, on the banks of the river Main. Continue on the Romantic Road to Rothenburg o.d.T., Germany’s well-preserved "Jewel of the Middle Ages" with its ramparts, city gates, town hall and Jakobskirche (church) with an altar by the famous wood-carver Tilman Riemenschneider. Upon arrival in Rothenburg, a taxi will take you to your hotel. In the afternoon or evening join the city walk with local guide or historic Night Watchman in Rothenburg. Overnight at Hotel Spitzweg / Breiterle or similar.

Morning free. In the early afternoon a taxi will meet you at your hotel and take you to the bus stop. Your coach drives along the Castle Road via Ansbach to Nuremberg. Arrival in Nuremberg in the late afternoon. After checking in to your hotel you can have City-tour by means of electronic audio-visual guidance available either in the afternoon or next morning before you leave. Overnight at Hotel Intercity or similar. B

After breakfast please leave your luggage at Reception (own risk) and enjoy the morning at your leisure or engage in the electronic audio-visual guided city tour if not taken the previous evening. In the early afternoon travel to Munich by high-speed train to where tour ends in the late afternoon.
