Lake Titisee

Lake Titisee in the Black Forest - due to its favourable position near France and Switzerland - is the ideal starting-point for many excursions. Some of the possibilities include the Rheinfalls at Schaffhausen, Freiburg - capital of the Black Forest, Lake Constance, Strasbourg, Lucerne, and the open-air museum in Gutach.

In addition, the nearby resorts of Titisee, Hinterzarten and Breitnau organise concerts, theatre performances, guided walks, dancing, open-air festivals and many other cultural events throughout the year.

Regular service from Freiburg every 30 min. Connections from Munich, Zurich and Stuttgart are available.

Hotel Alemannenhof

A small, individual hotel built in the typical style of the Black Forest. It is situated at the most beautiful and quietest part of Lake Titisee. 22 double rooms with German double beds and private facilities with bath or shower, minibar, direct-dial phone, colour TV, radio, alarm, safe and hairdryer. On request, the rooms can be used as single rooms. In addition, 11 apartments are located in an annexe about 300 metres from the main building. The style and furnishings of the apartments are equivalent to the hotel rooms.

Hotel facilities include indoor swimming pool, sauna and solarium. Fitness and massage programs can be arranged on request.

During summer months, hotel guests enjoy free daily boat transfers from hotel to the village of Titisee and nearby summer activities include horse riding, tennis, fishing, sailing, surfing and 18-hole golf. During the winter months, cross-country ski trails leave directly from the hotel and the 1492m high Feldberg can be easily reached by the ski-bus which passes the hotel each day.
